METHOD FOR PRODUCING FISH EMBRYO AND USE THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for efficiently producing fish individuals.

SOLUTION: The cell nucleus of an unfertilized fish egg given physical and/or chemical stress is transplanted into an unfertilized fish egg upon production of a fish embryo. The transplantation is performed when the cell cycle of the unfertilized egg is in G2 phase or M phase. This enables to efficiently obtain a fish embryo retaining a right polyploid chromosome, consequently fish individuals.
