To provide a method of conveniently, economically and safely producing reduced coenzyme Q10 without resorting to use a production apparatus or production steps that have been required hitherto in producing reduced coenzyme Q10; and a reduced coenzyme Q10-containing food by which reduced coenzyme Q10 can be easily and highly efficiently supplied. A method of producing reduced coenzyme Q10 which comprises heating oxidized coenzyme Q10 in the coexistence of food material(s) such as meat, fish and/or vegetables; and a reduced coenzyme Q10-containing food which is obtained by this production method.
