<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve the problem that it is undesirable to select a scale factor or designate a pasting size by using a small UI and a stale operation means of a copying machine at each time when pasting an object. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus capable of separating and reusing an object from image data of a read document includes: storage means which records relative relations to the other objects included in the document, as a feature quantity into metadata when separating the object from data of the documents; designation means which accepts designation of a document size and observation distance setting when editing; scaling processing means which performs scaling processing based on the metadata, the document size, and observation distance setting when editing; and pasting means which pastes the object subjected to the scaling processing, to image data of the document when editing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
