PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller bearing capable of effectively restraining reduction in the service life caused by abrasion powder or the like. SOLUTION: This roller bearing 1 has an inner ring 2, an outer ring 3, and a plurality of rollers 4 rollingly interposed between both these rings. The plurality of rollers 4 include at least partially a cylindrical part 11 having a rolling surface 11a on an outer peripheral surface and a spherical roller 10 having a spherical surface part 12 projecting in the radial direction more than the rolling surface 11a in at least one in both ends of this cylindrical part 11. Recessed raceway surfaces 2b and 3b recessed more than raceway surfaces 2a and 3a and rollingly contacting with the spherical surface part 12, are respectively formed on an outer peripheral surface of the inner ring 2 and an inner peripheral surface of the outer ring 3.
