<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell capable of supplying liquid fuel of a required flow down to terminal ends of branched channels of a fuel distribution mechanism without bringing forth air bubble plugging, and alleviating a load of a liquid-sending pump. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel battery is provided with a membrane electrode assembly 2 comprising a fuel electrode 13, an air electrode 16, and an electrolyte membrane 17, a fuel distribution mechanism 3, a fuel housing part 4, and a supply flow channel 5 connecting the fuel housing part with the fuel distribution mechanism. The fuel distribution mechanism 3 is provided with a fuel injection port 31 communicated with the supply flow channel, a main channel 20 with a given flow channel cross section uniformly continued from the fuel injection port, a plurality of fuel exhaust ports opened in opposition to the fuel electrode, and a plurality of branched channels 21 to 27 with a given flow channel resistance fitted midway between the main channel and the fuel exhaust channel and with a flow channel cross section shape and a branching structure adjusted in movement from an upstream side toward a downstream side between the main channel and the fuel exhaust ports. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
