<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface-emitting illumination device in which the positional adjustment of a surface-emitting light source is made easy. <P>SOLUTION: The surface-emitting illumination device comprises: the surface-emitting light source 1 having an approximately rectangular plane; a surface emission module A equipped with magnetic parts 2 disposed on the side opposit to the light-emitting surface side of the surface-emitting light source 1; magnetic attraction parts 3 for attracting the magnetic parts 2 by a magnetomotive force according to magnetic resistance; and power feeding units B equipped with power feeding parts 4 in order to feed power to the surface-emitting light source 1. In the surface-emitting illumination device, when the surface emission module A is moved close to the power feeding units B, B mounted on a wall surface or the like from the side of the magnetic parts 2, the surface emission module A is attracted by the magnetomotive force of the magnetic attraction parts 3 and fixed to the power feeding units B, B.
