PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission capable of shifting up a shift state to a high speed stage from a low speed stage, without ceasing the transmission of driving force. SOLUTION: A clutch mechanism 35 is arranged between a rotary shaft 12 and a gear 21, and switches the joining relationship between the rotary shaft 12 and the gear 21 to an engaging state, a one-way state and an unengaged state by rocking a strut 71 via a head ball 69 and a tail ball 70 by a slide cam 31. The shift stage can be shifted up to a second sheep shift stage from a first speed shift stage, without ceasing the driving force, by interposing the one-way state of transmitting the driving force by energizing the head ball 69 outside in the radial direction by centrifugal force between an engaging state of the first speed shift stage and an engaging state of the second speed shift stage. When the second speed shift stage is established, the strut 71 of disengaging engagement with the gear 21 rocks in the clockwise direction, and the head ball 69 lowers, and a first side shift stage is released.
