PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-performance, high-capability two-cylinder rotary compressor that can obtain a sufficient inertia supercharging effect with a suppressed influence of pulsation to other cylinder chamber mutually by reducing thicknesses of cylinders and an intermediate partition plate and providing in parallel mutually independent suction passages to the intermediate partition plate, and improve a maximum capability without increasing a discharging volume of the cylinder chambers, and to provide a refrigerating cycle device capable of improving refrigerating cycle efficiency using the two-cylinder rotary compressor. SOLUTION: The two-cylinder rotary compressor (A) is configured to house an electric motor portion 3 and a compressing mechanism portion 3 coupled with each other via a rotating shaft 4 inside a sealed case 1. The compressing mechanism portion is provided via the intermediate partition plate 7, at both end faces, with a first cylinder 8A having a first cylinder chamber 14a and a second cylinder 8B having a second cylinder chamber 14b. The intermediate partition plate includes two independent suction passages 15a and 15b.
