PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pump having improved efficiency and a reduced size. SOLUTION: This pump with a claw-pole motor as a drive source comprises an impeller 1 for sucking and discharging liquid, a pump case 4 having a suction port 2 and a discharge port 3, a separator 6 cooperating with the pump case to form a pump chamber 5 in which the impeller 1 is rotatably received, a rotor 8 with a magnet 7 for rotatingly driving the impeller 1, and a stator 10 with claw magnetic poles 9 for transmitting a rotating drive force to the rotor 8. The stator 10 is entirely coated with a mold resin 40. The heat of the motor and the heat of the liquid are dissipated through the mold resin 40 since the stator 10 is entirely coated with the mold resin 40.
