<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing sterilized vegetables, keeping the palate feeling excellent and reducing the number of bacteria of vegetables, and to provide a bacteriostatic agent. <P>SOLUTION: This method for producing the sterilized vegetables includes a process of bringing a 0-30°C dispersion liquid which contains at least either chlorite or hypochlorite, and pulverized egg shell of an average particle diameter of 1 μm or below, into contact with vegetables, and a process of removing the dispersion liquid from the vegetables. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
