<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the radio wave receiving performance by the antenna of a radio controlled timepiece without spoiling its magnetic resistant performance to a motor. <P>SOLUTION: The timepiece includes the antenna 50 for receiving an electric wave containing time information, and a date wheel driving motor 30 for driving a date wheel and the hour hand. The antenna 50 comprises an antenna body 51 having a core 51a and a coil 51b, and a reception lead plate 52 coupled magnetically to the core 51a through a ferrite block 51c and made of magnetic material. The motor 30 is so arranged in one divided region r1 out of two divided regions r1, r2 obtained by performing division with a parting line L1 which passes the center C1 of the radio controlled timepiece 100 and the center C2 of the antenna body 51, and is set imaginarily along a direction approximately perpendicular to the axis L of the core 51a, and is so arranged that at least part of the motor 30 laps over the reception lead plate 52 in plan view. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
