PROCESS TO PRODUCE SUBSTRATE RESISTANT TO ALKALINE STARCH

A process for producing a substrate having a surface that is resistant to adhesion of alkaline starch wherein a coating composition comprising a fluorosilicone and a solvent is applied to the surface of the substrate is disclosed. The process is particularly applicable with substrates which are components of paper machines, such as paper corrugators. There is further provided an improved process for producing a corrugated paper wherein a coating composition comprising a fluorosilicone and a solvent is applied to the surface components of a paper corrugator.
