PORTABLE TERMINAL BROWSING DOCUMENT DISTRIBUTION SERVER, PORTABLE TERMINAL, AND PORTABLE TERMINAL BROWSING DOCUMENT DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently browse a document for PC in a portable terminal with a small display area.

SOLUTION: An important part extracting part 17 of a server 1 extracts important parts of a document, and a priority determining part 18 determines priority of the extracted important parts. A browse control information generating part 14 generates browse control information for browsing the important parts based on the information on the position of the extracted important parts in the document and the priority of the important parts. A format converting part 13 converts an original document file into a format available on a cellular phone, and an input/output part 11 transmits the converted document file and the browse control information to a cellular phone 20. The cellular phone 20 analyzes the received browse control information in a browse control information analyzing part 23, and displays the important parts of the received document file in the order of the priority on the basis of the analysis result.
