<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ophthalmic surgical instrument which enables minimally invasive surgery by reinforcing the rigidity of a region which is located outside an eye and constitutes an insertion member stuck into an eye ball in vitreous surgery or the like and by reducing a diameter of a part inserted into the interior of the eye and enables the improvement of operability and a reduction in a burden on a surgeon. <P>SOLUTION: The ophthalmic surgical instrument includes a reinforcing member 7 for increasing the rigidity of a part which is located outside the eye and constitutes a tubular member as the insertion member inserted into the eye ball in vitreous surgery or the like, and the reinforcing member 7 is configured in a manner that at least a part of the reinforcing member moves along the axial direction of the tubular member 2 as the insertion member to vary a length to increase the rigidity in accordance with the insertion amount of the insertion member into the interior of the eye. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
