<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the power transmission chain and the power transmission unit further reduced in noise by eliminating an undesirable one out of the random array of pitch lengths and pin shapes in terms of relative impact rate. <P>SOLUTION: In terms of pitch length, there are two kinds, i.e., a short pitch link L1 and a long pitch link L2, and in terms of pin shape, there are two kinds, i.e., a large rolling contact face curvature pin P1 and a small rolling contact face curvature pin P2.
