PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifugal pump capable of achieving improvement of pump efficiency and reduction in the weight and size. SOLUTION: The centrifugal pump is provided with a rotating shaft connected to a rotation drive part; a pump base part having a through hole to which the rotating shaft is penetrated; a pump blade having a blade boss connected to the tip of the rotating shaft and rotated together with the rotating shaft by drive of the rotation drive part; a casing 10 connected to the pump base part so as to cover the pump blade and defining a fluid chamber; a fluid inflow port 10a provided in the casing 10; and a fluid outflow port 10b provided in the casing 10. On the inner peripheral wall of the casing 10 facing the outer peripheral end face of the pump blade, a whirl chamber 22 is provided around the axial center P1 of the rotating shaft. The outer peripheral face and inner peripheral face 10b of an end part of the casing 10 connected to the pump base part are formed to have a circular shape. The circle centers P2 of the outer peripheral face and inner peripheral face 10d correspond to each other and are set in a position eccentric to an end point A2 side of the whirl chamber 22 with respect to the axial center P1 of the rotating shaft.
