SOLUTION: The relief valve 30 of the refrigerant compressor 11 is inserted and provided from the opening on the discharge chamber Da side of the attachment hole 15 to the inside of the attachment hole 15 so that an inflow opening 38 is positioned on the discharge chamber Da side of the attachment hole 15 and that a discharge opening 45 is positioned on the atmospheric side of the attachment hole 15. The movement of the relief valve 30 to the discharge chamber Da side in the attachment hole 15 is regulated by the engagement between an engagement convexity 34 of a casing 31 and the engagement concavity 15d of the attachment hole 15. Furthermore, the movement of the relief valve 30 to the atmosphere side in the attachment hole 15 is regulated by the engagement between the engagement step part 36 of the casing 31 and the engagement step 15c of the attachment hole 15.
