The device has a measuring and evaluation unit (12) fixed to a wheel (10) in a region of wheel nuts (14) of the wheel. A sensor (18) is provided for detection of a parameter for a condition of wheel bearing (22). A sensor (16) is provided for detection of a tire pressure of tire (24) of the wheel. The measuring and evaluation unit is activated by a monitoring signal, and includes a medium (30) for manual triggering of monitoring signal. A receiver arrangement of the measuring and evaluation unit is provided for wireless receiving of the monitoring signals.
