<p>An apparatus for inputting character for using a screen keyboard is provided to input a plurality of characters by using a small number of cells by inputting conversion character by dragging the conversion character. A storage(20) stores image data of a screen keyboard, and the characters allocated in cells are stored. If a specific cell is dragged after touch, a touch analysis module generates conversion selection signal. A control module inputs character by selecting a special character among characters which are not allocated in the cell based on conversion selection signal. The storage stores the shift characters directed information. If the conversion selection signal is generated, the control module selects and inputs designated shift characteristics.</p> |
