PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating seat device for a vehicle capable of surely positioning a seat at a forward position and a backward position without positioning the seat at a fine adjustment rotating position in the process of reversing the seat from the backward position or the forward position. SOLUTION: Moving of a lock member 31 to a lock position is regulated unless a control member 32 moves to a lock allowing position, while moving of the control member 32 to the lock allowing position is regulated unless a holding member 33 moves to a lock regulation release position. Moving of the holding member 33 to the lock regulation release position is constituted to be executable by an abutting part 15 and an abutted part 53, etc. only when the seat is rotated to the forward position, and thereby the seat is not positioned at the fine adjustment rotating position and is surely positioned at the forward position.
