<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery replacing device in a portable printer, capable of securing rigidity of a case and capable of taking out easily a battery. <P>SOLUTION: A protrusion 62 is provided in a side face rear end edge of the battery 50. The mounted battery 50 is taken out by hooking a claw to the protrusion 62, when taken out. The battery 50 is thereby taken out easily.
