PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adjusting method of a water/cold water mixing faucet and the water/cold water mixing faucet, capable of accurately designating a different area of a spring constant, when designating a rotation quantity of large-small motors, with a change point as a reference by motor control, by making a specific rotation quantity of the motors coincide with the change point of the spring constant, in the water/cold water mixing faucet having a bias spring constituted so that the spring constant becomes two stages in a single body. SOLUTION: The bias spring 70 of the water/cold water mixing faucet has a large diameter part 72 and a small diameter part 74, and the spring constant has a different value of two stages. A step quantity (the step number) of designating a position of the change point of the spring constant of the bias spring 70 in a stepping motor 44 and the change point of the spring constant of the bias spring 70, are adjusted to be coincident.
