PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for opening a top of a box which is capable of surely opening the top of the box. SOLUTION: In an apparatus 100 for opening the top of a corrugated cardboard box 900, the neighborhoods of folds of respective four pieces 901, 902, 903, and 904 are supported from the outside of the corrugated cardboard box 900 by a nail driving apparatus 500 by supporting bodies 251, 252, 253, and 254, and while respective four pieces 901, 902, 903, and 904 of the corrugated cardboard box 900 are locked by a nail driving apparatus 500, respective four pieces 901, 902, 903, and 904 are at least moved to the outside from an erecting posture of the corrugated cardboard box 900.
