PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal extension device and a connection terminal for extending a terminal in which a terminal for performing electricity conduction with an apparatus terminal can be extended without operating an existing electric wire even when the electric wire has been connected to the apparatus terminal. SOLUTION: The connection terminal 111 connected to the apparatus terminal 51 of the apparatus having the apparatus terminal 51 to which an electric wire is connected and a cover 6 fixed so as to cover the apparatus terminal 51, is arranged so as to project inward from the cover 6 so that the connection terminal 111 is in contact with the apparatus terminal 51 when the cover 6 is fixed on a device body 5. The terminal extension device 1 for extending a terminal which performs electricity conduction with the apparatus terminal 51, includes an extension terminal to be extended, the connection terminal 111, and a conductor part 14 for electrically connecting the extension terminal with the connection terminal 111.
