PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vending machine configured to store merchandise whose tap section has a hook for reducing costs by simplifying the configurations of a merchandise storage rack capable of stably carrying out merchandise. SOLUTION: The vending machine includes slant type merchandise storage racks constructed in a vertical direction across a plurality of stages to support the hooks of merchandise, and configured so as to be inclined such that the rear side is lower than the front side (merchandise supplementary side) and that the merchandise is made to slide by the self-weight and stored so as to be suspended and equipped with a merchandise support unit 30 having a merchandise conveyance mechanism 34 at the rear end. The merchandise conveyance mechanism 34 includes a first locking part 45 for locking the merchandise whose selling order is the first and for holding the free end side of cantilever-supported merchandise and a stopper member 42 having a second locking section 46 for locking the merchandise whose selling order is the second.
