<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a program recording system for performing reserved recording of a broadcast program outside its own broadcast area, a program recording management server and a recording center. <P>SOLUTION: In the program recording system 9, a program recording management server 1, a mobile terminal 2, a recording center including a local program recording device 3 and a content viewing device 4 are connected over a communication network 5. In the program recording system, the mobile terminal 2 receives broadcast program information of a viewing area, in which reserved recording is to be performed, and causes a user to select a reservation program. Program reservation information including area information on the viewing area is then transmitted from the mobile terminal 2 to the program recording management server 1. On the basis of the area information, the program recording management server 1 distributes and transmits the program reservation information to the local program recording device 3.
