<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device that prevents occurrence of unevenness on an image due to redeposition of a developer leaving a developer carrier surface at a developer leaving area and moving on the way toward a developer storage unit onto the developer carrier surface, and to provide an image forming apparatus with the same, and a process cartridge. <P>SOLUTION: A magnetic field generating means includes first and second magnetic poles arranged adjacent to each other with the same polarity, which are used for generating magnetic force to make the developer passing a developing area leave a developer carrier. The developer carrier is arranged above the developer stored in a supply chamber, and the developer leaving area where the developer on the developer carrier leaves the developer carrier between the first and second magnetic poles is arranged so as not to come into contact with the developer stored in the supply chamber in a driven condition. A magnet making a magnetized surface whose polarity is opposite to the first magnetic pole face the developer carrier is arranged on the outside of a developer carrier radial direction rather than the developer carrier surface in the developer leaving area. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
