<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that since there is only one settable staple position with respect to all print data included in one print job in a conventional printer driver, it is not attainable to perform setting to divide print data included in one print job into a plurality of sections for stapling the print data, and to staple only a portion of the print data. <P>SOLUTION: When setting a staple position, the leading page of the final printed matter is designated as a division page, and a staple position is designated in association with the division page so that it is attainable to set the staple position in subsets unit.
