PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape cutter enabling a user to stick and cut a pressure sensitive adhesive double coated tape with his/her one hand and capable of preventing a released paper from scattering as trash in the circumference after peeling the paper off. SOLUTION: This tape cutter 1 includes mainly a cutter body 9 on which the pressure sensitive adhesive double coated tape 7 is mounted to support it rotatably and which includes a tape delivery part 8 for delivering the pressure sensitive adhesive double coated tape 7, a pressurizing part 11 having a pressurizing face 10 for sticking an adhesive tape 5 of the pressure sensitive adhesive double coated tape 7 onto a sticking object 12 while pressing the tape 5 against the object 12, a releasing part 3 for peeling the released paper 6 off the pressure sensitive adhesive double coated tape 7 and guiding it in the predetermined direction when sticking the tape 7, and a tape cutting part 4 for cutting the adhesive tape 5 from which the released paper 6 is removed. The pressure sensitive adhesive double coated tape 7 is separated into the adhesive tape 5 and the released paper 6 by the releasing part 3 simultaneously when sticking the tape 7, and the released paper 6 is guided in the predetermined direction.
