PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hermetic compressor improved in performance and reliability by preventing the increase in bearing load by centrifugal force acting on a weight. SOLUTION: The compressor includes a thrust ball bearing disposed between a thrust surface of a main bearing 126 and a flange part 121. The flange part 121 includes a weight 172 in a position vertically below the lower end surface contacting with the thrust ball bearing, the position being symmetric to an eccentric shaft part 122 in axial projection of a main shaft part 120. Since the bearing load by centrifugal force acting on the weight 172 is never increased, efficiency and reliability are improved. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
