PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate transporting tray that can reduce transport costs by thinning a transporting tray such as a large glass substrate, by increasing the number of bases that can be arranged in a stack, and by improving transport efficiency. SOLUTION: In the substrate transporting tray in which each of rectangular display substrates is accommodated and they are stacked in a frame surrounding the display substrates. In this tray, a plurality of substrate receiving wires held across and slackened inside the frame bear the display substrates while they are curved vertically downward in the shape of a cylindrical side.
