PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a defoaming method by which air bubbles in a resin composition can sufficiently be removed even when the resin composition is filled in a syringe wherein a seal cap is fitted in a manner to form a fine space around the discharging nozzle, and to provide a dispensing method for the resin composition utilizing the defoaming method. SOLUTION: This method is used for defoaming bubbles in the resin composition by placing the resin composition filled in a syringe for dispensing having the discharging nozzle, on which the seal cap has been fitted, under a pressure-reduced atmosphere. In the defoaming method, after the resin composition has been defoamed in the pressure-reduced atmosphere of a first vacuum degree, the resin composition is defoamed in the pressure-reduced atmosphere of a second vacuum degree which is lower than the first vacuum degree.
