PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease an increase in operation cost or memory cost in image reduction correction, and to excellently suppress the deterioration of the picture quality of a formed image.

SOLUTION: An image processor 242 for correcting image reduction with respect to target image data includes: a deleted position identification means 254 for specifying a position almost in the center of an image area comprising pixels where a gradation value equal to or larger than a prescribed concentration in the target image data is set as the deletion position of a deletion pixel; a pixel deletion means 252 for deleting a specified deletion pixel 512 and shifting the pixel in the reduction direction according to the deletion; and a gradation value change means 257 for changing the gradation value of an adjacent pixel 511 adjacent to the deletion pixel 512 being the pixel in the image area comprising pixels where the gradation value equal to or larger than the prescribed concentration is set.
