PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide toner superior in image density during long-term use and halftone uniformity and superior in low-temperature fixability by improving stress resistance of the toner and by reducing an amount of variation of toner characteristics. SOLUTION: The magnetic toner includes at least magnetic toner particles including at least a binding resin, a magnetic body, and a releasing agent, and inorganic fine powder. (1) Total Energy (TEA100) when agitation speed measured by a powder fluidity measuring device for the magnetic toner particles is 100 revolutions is 500 mJ or more and 1,000 mJ or less, and (2) a weight average molecular weight Mw when an ortho-dichlorobenzene-soluble fraction of the magnetic toner is measured by size-exclusion chromatography-online multi-angle laser light-scattering (SEC-MALLS) is 50,000 or more and 200,000 or less, and a ratio Rw/Mw between the weight average molecular weight Mw and an inertial square radius Rw is 1.0×10<SP>-4</SP>or more and 4.0×10<SP>-4</SP>or less.
