PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a hollow stabilizer bar is provided to reduce the fatigue life of a stabilizer bar by secondarily heating a decarburized stabilizer bar to induce carbon diffusion in the organization of the stabilizer bar. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a hollow stabilizer bar comprises the steps of: cutting a hollow pipe(10) to a desired length, forging both ends of the cut pipe to form an eye portion, heating the pipe first above a set temperature, forming the pipe with a press forming device(30) into a stabilizer bar(1), secondarily heating the stabilizer bar so that the organization of the stabilizer bar is transformed through carbon diffusion, quenching and tempering the stabilizer bar, shoot-peening the tempered stabilizer bar, and coating the exterior of the stabilizer bar.
