<p>The hydraulic fine blanking head has an adjusting mechanism with an adjusting nut (6) provided with an internal motion thread, turnable around a stroke axis, and a sprocket wheel is fixed at a frontal surface (34) of the adjusting nut vertically arranged to the stroke axis. A hydraulic motor is held at a head piece (2) with a motor shaft, where a driving chain runs around the shaft of the motor and the sprocket wheel. An independent claim is also included for a method for feeding a hydraulic fine blanking head.</p>
