<p>The press has a push rod (3) guided vertically on a lifting axis in an O-frame. A fixed bearing is provided on the lifting axis of the push rod, and two eccentric shafts (6) are assigned to a connecting rod (8), where the shafts are supported in another fixed bearing (FL1). The connecting rod comprises pivot points (22, 23). Shaft ends are connected with three-phase synchronous motors by a planetary gear towards a parallel drive. The motors are adjusted to each other with time-distance parameters by a computer connected with the motors.</p>
