VANE RING SEGMENT AND VANE RING CARRIER FOR A HORIZONTALLY SPLIT TURBO ENGINE CASING

The device has a guide disk segment with a set of guide blades fixed to an outer ring segment (7) along its inner circumference. The outer ring segment is rolled into and/or out of a guide blade carrier (3) of a turbo-machine housing. The outer ring segment has a toothing i.e. globoid toothing, that is engaged with a drive device. A tangential force is applied to the outer ring segment for mounting and demounting the guide disk segment into and/or from the guide blade carrier, such that the guide disk segment is driven during rolling-in and/or rolling-out process. An independent claim is also included for a method for mounting and demounting a guide disk segment by rolling-in and/or rolling-out process.
