PURPOSE: A public transportation information service method and an apparatus thereof for requesting a public transportation information service on internet are provided to increase the convenience of a public transportation information service user based on the location of a mobile communication terminal. CONSTITUTION: A message receiver(201) receives a first message setting the number as a receiving number. A location information generator(203) generates location information about a mobile communication terminal. A message generator(205) generates a second message including the public transportation information according to the location information by using a public transportation information management server. |
