The invention relates to a drying method utilizing a special arrangement of supply and exhaust air roofs, wherein supply air is applied to the individual streams of goods not only in a manner alternating from left to right, but also in a manner which avoids a surplus of supply and exhaust air roofs, which are commonly utilized on the separation plane between two shaft modules separated from each other at 180°, for the purpose of changing the direction from which air is applied. This approach is particularly advantageous for the drying of parboiled rice. |
