<p>The trap (1) has a tubular container (2) for accommodating a base plate, which is introduced between a set of entrance openings provided at a front side of the container. Two rodent-specific control units (5) are pre-installed on the base plate and are assigned to the entrance openings, respectively. The container includes an openable cover portion (18) in regions of the control units, and is completely surrounded in a longitudinal direction.
