<p>The method involves detecting overhead lines, components connected to lines, buildings and tunnels based on a height of a pantograph (2). A profile of the pantograph is virtually computed based on contact wire height. The distance from the components connected to the overhead lines and or from the pantograph is measured continuously. The measured distance is recorded and displayed, and localization of the components is performed by placement of an odometer and/ or a differential global positioning system, when the measured distance falls below a permissible distance.</p> |
