PURPOSE: An angle measuring device using an acceleration sensor and a method thereof are provided to have an angle measurement function through a portable terminal equipped with an acceleration sensor. CONSTITUTION: An angle measuring device using an acceleration sensor comprises a manipulation unit(106), an acceleration sensor(108), and a controller(110). The manipulation unit receives an angle measurement start point and an angle measurement end point. The acceleration sensor detects a resistance value by sector-shaped rotation from the angle measurement start point and the angle measurement end point and a sensor value according to the change of the capacitance value. The controller produces angles based on a detected sensor value from the angle measurement start point to the angle measurement end point.
