PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a divided retaining plate is provided to prevent a metal plate attached on a cover plate from being separated to outside. CONSTITUTION: A vessel cover plate device comprises a cover plate, a partition plate, and a fastening member. The cover plate is installed to correspond to a ring-shaped groove formed in the inner side of a vessel. The cover plate has a smaller diameter than the inner diameter of the ring-shaped groove. The partition plate is adhered to the cover plate and can separate the cover plate. The fastening member fastens the partition plate to the cover plate.
