PURPOSE: A method for indicating a public transportation stop using GPS and a displaying device for thereof are provided to implement LDM(LED Dot Matrix) display device and a public transportation stop. CONSTITUTION: An LDM display device for public transportation stop using GPS comprises an MMU(Memory Management Unit)(110), a power source(120), a system memory(130), a data memory(140), a buffer memory(150), UART(Universal asynchronous receiver transmitter) communication unit(160), an RS232 communication unit(170), and an LDM display unit(180). The MMU controls a mapping and accessing to the system memory, data memory, and buffer memory. The system memory stores the name of public transportation stops for each route. The data memory stores coordinate data of the stops. The LDM display unit comprises a plurality of LED. |
