RESTRAINING EQUIPMENTS FOR INDEPENDENCE TYPE CARGO TANK AND ITS INSULATION METHOD

PURPOSE: A device for restraining an independent cargo tank and an insulation method thereof are provided to prevent an adiabatic material for a chock from getting broken by securing a passage for leaked liquefied gas. CONSTITUTION: A device(1) for restraining an independent cargo tank comprises a metal choke(10), stopper structures(20), and an adiabatic member(30) for a chock. The metal chock is attached on one surface of an independent cargo tank(2). The stopper structures are installed in a hull in order to block both sides of the metal chock. The adiabatic member covers an exposed part of the metal chock and a part of the cargo tank.
