PURPOSE: An apparatus for changing a modular air preheater is provided to reduce time for assembly processes by the re-assembly of a rotor due to the installation of a few modules. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for changing a modular air preheater comprises a two-pin lug assembly, multiple diaphragms(56,58,60,62), and stay plates(42). The two-pin lug assembly is coupled with the post of an air preheater. The lug assembly comprises an upper two-pin lug(54) and a lower two-pin lug. The two-pin lug assembly has a sector plate shielding angle. The multiple diaphragms are radially extended from the two-pin lug assembly. The stay plates are located between the diaphragms to form basket modules. |
