PURPOSE: A navigation device and a method thereof are provided to improve the operation efficiency of the entire system by outputting advertisement-information transmitted from a server based on vehicle speed. CONSTITUTION: A navigation method comprises following steps. When the speed of a measured vehicle is equal to or less than preset speed, vehicle information is transmitted to a server(600). Advertisement information transmitted from a server is received in respond to the transmitted vehicle information. Video information, voice information, and additional information included in the received advertisement-information are outputted.
