<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To monitor whether a portable machine is carried out of a vehicle or not in real time while reducing electric power consumption due to communication. <P>SOLUTION: An acceleration sensor 104 measures acceleration of the portable machine 13 for performing communication with the vehicle 11, and an acceleration absolute value determining part 139 determines whether the acceleration measured by the acceleration sensor 104 is larger than a predetermined value or not. A confirmation signal management part 140 transmits a confirmation signal demand signal for demanding transmission of a confirmation signal to the vehicle 11 when the acceleration measured by the acceleration sensor 104 is larger than the predetermined value, and a response signal management part 141 transmits a response signal corresponding to the confirmation signal transmitted from the vehicle 11 based on the confirmation signal demand signal.
