PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid storage container which can easily extract a recovered liquid to be reused without increasing the cost for disassembling work, replacement of an absorbing material or the like. SOLUTION: An ink cartridge 17 having a waste ink storage unit 45 that stores waste ink includes: a waste ink inlet/outlet 55 disposed in a frame part 52 that is the peripheral wall on which the waste ink storage unit 45 is formed; a waste ink flow path 53, one end 53a of which is communicated with the waste ink inlet/outlet 55 and the other end 53b of which is disposed in the ink storage unit and opened; a wall part 54 that divides the waste ink storage unit 45 into an upper air chamber 61 and a lower storage chamber 62 that are communicated with each other through a communication part 58; and an atmosphere communication path 87 for communicating the air chamber 61 with the outside; the communication part 58 for communicating the air chamber 61 with the storage chamber 62; and a plurality of ribs 91a to 91d provided in the storage chamber 62 and alternately extended along a communication direction in the communication part 58 from the opposite direction.
